Hi, I'm John F Kelly. As a teenager in the 60s I followed everyone from the Beatles and The Who, to Donovan and Dylan.
I visited many folk clubs during the 70s, 80s and 90s and later developed an interest in playing and singing on my own. I took up guitar lessons and this is when I thought up a simplified way of learning chords.
When learning chord structures it can be difficult to remember the shape and finger positions. You often have to stop playing to look up the more unfamiliar chords or draw a rough illustration on your song sheet.
I developed Easy Peel chord labels to help beginners practice without having to stop playing.
